Embracing Escape is a short half-hour visual novel.

Join our protagonist Vick, a survivor in the wastelands outside of a great cyberpunk world, as she experiences virtual reality for the first time. It’s a world full of fantasy containing everything she lacks in his current life.

Of course, nothing perfect is free, and she has to choose to either to relinquish her current life for this escapist fantasy or live in a reality that’s harsh but true.
